For the past day Ukraine’s border guards recorded increased activity of the Russian Armed Forces near the administrative border with annexed Crimea, according to the State Border Service (SBS) of Ukraine, Joinfo.com reports with reference to Ukrainska Pravda.

“In particular, border guards of the Kherson and Berdyansk squads watched 3 Russian helicopters, which carried out flights along administrative border without crossing it, and spotted an aerostat “Rys” (“Lynx” in Russian) over the temporarily occupied territory [of Crime] the raised for the purpose of surveillance”, – the SBS press-service said.

In addition, Ukrainian border guards observed maneuvers of the Russian military equipment and personnel within positions of the Russia’s Armed Forces close to the administrative border of the annexed peninsula and mainland Ukraine, SBS said.
