A Dutch terror unit raided the house after receiving a tip from the national intelligence service AIVD. In the house, the police also found four boxes of highly explosive illegal fireworks, Joinfo.com reports with reference to the Dutch media.

Furthermore, the police seized a painting with an image of an Islamic State flag, mobile phones and 1,600 euros.

A spokesman for the National Prosecutor Office will not say the address where the man was arrested. It is unclear whether the man acted alone or with a group.

“We are still investigated him and his intentions,” the spokesman said.
