ATO HQ report: Russian proxies 11 times opened fire in Donbas in past 24 hours despite ceasefire

The occupiers made 8 attacks on Ukrainian troops in the Mariupol sector, 2 attacks in the Luhansk sector and 1 - in the Donetsk sector, despite the ceasefire in eastern Ukraine from 1 September

According to information released on Saturday by the spokesman of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine for the Antiterrorist Operation (ATO) issues Col. Andriy Lysenko, no one was killed and wounded in the ranks of Ukrainian troops in Donbas during the last day of hostilities, Joinfo.ua reports.

In the Luhansk sector, the enemy made 2 attacks on positions of the ATO forces yesterday: one in the day time and one in the night. The attacks occurred in Popasna district. Militants did not use heavy arms yesterday. Also, an enemy UAV flight was recorded over the border between the Donetsk and Luhansk sectors of the ATO area.

In the Donetsk sector, the invaders broke the ceasefire once in the Avdiyivka industrial area. The bombardment lasted about 1 hour. Except light weapons, the enemy fired a mortar.

In the Mariupol sector, the biggest number of the enemy attacks – eight – happened there yesterday. The occupants opened fire in the villages of Mar’inka, Starohnativka, Vodiane and Shyrokyne. These incidents occurred in the time interval between 20 and 23 hours, the rest of the day was quiet.

Near Bezimenne village, the enemy tried to suppress the management system of the ATO forces, using complex electronic warfare ‘Diabazol’.
