“Eleven French MPs not only violated Ukrainian legislation and international sanctions by their visit to Crimea this weekend, but also took part in the infamous propaganda show, denied the blatant violation of human rights in the framework of the Russian occupation and slandered the Crimean Tatars, who were abducted and probably killed,” he posted, according to UNAIN report.

It should be recalled that on July 29-30, a delegation of 11 French parliamentarians, led by National Assembly deputy and former Minister of Transport Thierry Mariani, once again visited Russian-occupied Crimea.

In response to the visit, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine strongly condemned the visit of the French MPs to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea occupied by the Russian Federation.

Ukrainian MFA has also published a statement, in which the Ministry expressed its strongest protest against the decision of the Russian president Vladimir Putin to include the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea into Southern Federal District of the Russian Federation.
