On July 27, as of 6 am, Russian occupation forces opened fire 44 times on positions of the ATO forces, according to information released this morning by Major Oleh Sushynskyi, spokesman for the press center of the Antiterrorist Operation, Joinfo.ua reports.
In the Luhansk sector, where it was completely quiet on Tuesday, the enemy 18 times fired on positions of Ukrainian army, using 82mm mortars near villages of Novozvanivka, Novooleksandrivka, Boguslavske, Krymske and Velyka Kosharna. Also, the enemy fired grenade launchers in Popasna town and Lopaskyne village.
In the Donetsk sector of the ATO area, militants 16 times opened fire. They fired from the forbidden by the Minsk agreements 82mm and 120mm mortars, as well as from grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms on positions of Ukrainian army in Avdiyivka town.
In addition, yesterday at about 11:30 am, Ukrainian military had a combat with enemy reconnaissance group on the territory of a village. The clash lasted nearly an hour. As a result, the enemy retreated.
Also, occupants fired grenade launchers near villages of Zaitseve and Novoselivka Druha; infantry combat vehicles – in Novohorodske village; sniper rifles, heavy machine guns and grenade launchers – in Luhanske village.
In the Mariupol sector, invaders 10 times violated the ceasefire. In particular, they fired 82mm mortars on bases of the ATO forces in Starohnativka. Also, militants fired grenade launchers and heavy machine guns in Vodiane village. The invaders also fired a tank near Mar’inka and small arms – in Shyrokyne.
