Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has asked law-enforcement agencies to ensure the protection of Ukrainska Pravda founding editor Olena Prytula after Belarusian journalist Pavlo Sheremet was killed in a blast of her car on Wendesday morning, Presidential Press Secretary Svyatoslav Tsegolko has informed, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

“The president is holding a meeting with law-enforcers. [He] ordered to ensure the protection of Olena Prytula,” he tweeted on Wednesday.

A well-known Ukrainian-Belarusian journalist Pavlo Sheremet was killed in the explosion of a car in downtown of Ukraine’s capital on Wednesday morning.
