A well-known Ukrainian-Belarusian journalist Pavlo Sheremet was killed in the explosion of a car in downtown of Ukraine’s capital on Wednesday morning

The explosion occurred at 7:45 am of 20 July, when Sheremet was riding in the car in the center of Kyiv. The car belonged to Ukrainska Pravda head editor Olena Prytula, but she was not in the car at the time, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to Ukrainska Pravda.

The police arrived at the place of the incident. The investigation is underway.

Pavlo Sheremet was born in Minsk, Belarus. He worked for Belarusian television, later he covered Belarusian news on Russian TV. For about five past years, he lived in Kyiv, worked for the Ukrainska Pravda edition and hosted a morning show on Radio Vesti.
