Ukrainian president inspected line of strongholds at forefront in Donbas

Ukraine’s President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Petro Poroshenko inspected the line of strongholds at the forefront and communicated with servicemen of the 128th separate brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the Anti Terrorist Operation, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to the presidential press service.

At the location of one of the Ukrainian military units in Vodiane village, the President signed the Decree on demobilization of servicemen of the fifth wave of mobilization. “I have got pleasant news for you. I am signing the Decree on demobilization of servicemen of the fifth wave of mobilization,” Petro Poroshenko said.

President Poroshenko invited servicemen willing to further defend Ukraine to become contractors: “The Ukrainian army needs you and your military experience and spirit”.

President Poroshenko has also handed state awards to the servicemen and volunteers.

The Supreme Commander-in-Chief also had a working meeting with Chief of the General Staff of the AFU Viktor Muzhenko and Minister of Defense Stepan Poltorak.
