ATO HQ: militants made 28 attacks on Ukrainian army, used grenade launchers and 82mm mortars

According to the report of the Anti Terrorist Operation Headquaters as of 6 a.m., the Russian-terrorist forces made 28 attacks on positions of the Ukrainian army during the last 24 hours, Joinfo.ua reports.

They intensified shelling at night, said the ATO spokesman Major Anton Myronovych.

Occupants do not stop shelling on the ATO’s positions in the suburbs the temporarily occupied cities of Donetsk and Horlivka. In the evening, they made two attacks on positions of the ATO forces south of Avdiyivka, using grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and 82mm mortars.

Invaders fired the mortar of the same caliber on Ukrainian army’s stronghold ​near Zaitseve. Also, they fired small arms near Mar’inka.

The enemy opened fire thrice on strongholds of the Ukrainian army near the village of Luhanske on the Svetlodarsk beachhead, using weapons of infantry fighting vehicles (BMPs).

It was restless in the Mariupol sector too. Illegal armed groups opened fire with heavy machine guns and grenade launchers on Shyrokyne.

Occupants have suffered losses near Novotroitske. Again, they attacked Ukrainian troops with anti-tank missile system. However, Ukrainian soldiers opened fire in response and destroyed enemy fire means.

In the Luhansk sector of the ATO area, Russian-terrorist forces have also increased shelling. They fired machine guns, anti-aircraft weapons systems and infantry fighting vehicles (BMPs) on the ATO’s strongholds near Novozvanivka. Also, they fired grenade launchers near Stanytsia Luhanska.

According to Major Myronovych, 6 reconnaissance flights of enemy UAVs were detected in the area of ​​ATO.
