In the Donetsk sector, the most difficult situation remains in Avdiyivka. An enemy artillery unit, located in the village of Spartak, opened fire on positions of Ukrainian troops just after midnight. The occupants released 240 shells within an hour, said the spokesman of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine for ATO issues Colonel Andriy Lysenko at the briefing in the Information Center of the Ukraine’s National Security Service, Joinfo.ua reports.

One Ukrainian soldier was killed and 3 wounded in action during shelling in Avdiyivka.

Yesterday afternoon, the enemy released about 30 shells from 82mm mortars. Also, enemy attacks occurred on other parts of the front line – in the villages of Zaitseve, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka and others. During the past day in the Donetsk sector, invaders made 10 attacks, including 6 – with the use of heavy weapons.

There were 17hostile attacks in the Mariupol sector, including 4 – the use of heavy weapons. In particular, militants made a series of mortar attacks in Krasnohorivka and Shyrokyne, while in  Shyrokyne they used artillery. In addition, the enemy used armored vehicles, anti-tank rocket launchers, anti-aircraft installation and snipers. Overall, it was restless in the sector, except for Mar’inka and Hranitne.

According to Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence, yesterday in the Mariupol and Donetsk sectors, occupants used 2 UAVs. They flew from Russia after crossing the state border in the area, uncontrolled by Ukraine, near the village of Markine, the Novoazovsk district, and the village of Ul’yanivske, the Amvrosiivka district.

There were 4 enemy attacks in the Luhansk sector pf the Anti Terrorist Operation area in eastern Ukraine. In particular, militants fired in the villages of Zhovte and Sokilnyky, where it was usually quite calm. In addition, two enemy snipers opened fire in Nozvanivka.
