In the Luhansk sector of the Anti Terrorist Operation area in Donbas, invaders three times attacked the Ukrainian army in Schastia, Novotoshkivske (on Bahmutska road) at night, said the spokesman of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine for ATO issues Colonel Andriy Lysenko at the briefing in the Information Center of the Ukraine’s National Security Service, Joinfo.ua reports.
In the Donetsk sector, occupants vade one very powerful shelling on positions of the ATO forces near the coal mine Putylivska, also known as the coal mine Butovka-Donetska. The enemy used 82 mm and 120 mm mortars. They fired over 40 shells. The shelling lasted for about 2 hours.
As informed the Defence Ministry of Ukraine, invaders reinforced their foremost divisions in the Donetsk sector. In particular, a battery of Rapira cannons, a battery of D-30 howitzers and a platoon of Msta-B howitzers arrived the district of the Donetsk airport. A company of militants was transferred from Donetsk to the village of Spartak.
Two artillery systems (SAU), two infantry fighting vehicles and a truck with manpower. Those units are mostly of the so-called “100-th separate motor rifle brigade of the 1st Army Corps” of the “DPR”. Two trucks with troops of the so-called “11th Individual Motorized Infantry Regiment of the 1st Army Corps” of “DPR” arrived in Yasinuvata. A rotation of occupant troops is planned in the outskirts of the Avdiyivka industrial zone.
Insurgents made most of attacks in the Mariupol sector. In particular, yesterday they made 10 powerful mortar shellings, during which occupants released over 130 shells on positions of the ATO forces. Militant snipers fired actively too. The main hotspots were in Krasnohorivka, Mar’inka, suburbs of the occupied Dokuchayevsk and Shyrokyne. In total, there were 19 enemy attacks in the Mariupol sector yesterday.
A local civilian resident received shrapnel injuries of hands and feet in an explosion of a trip wire in Hranitne. The man was rushed to the hospital in Volnovakha. The ATO headquarters call on people to observe personal safety while near the boundary line and pay attention to warning signs.
During the past day of hostilities, three Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in the village of Shyrokyne.
