In the Luhansk sector, the enemy made 5 attacks, including one with mortar, on positions of Ukrainian troops. Militants violate the truce along the entire front line from Stanytsia Luhanska to Popasna and do so mostly at nighttime or at dusk, said the spokesman of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine for ATO issues Colonel Andriy Lysenko at the briefing in the Information Center of the Ukraine’s National Security Service, Joinfo.ua reports.

In the Donetsk sector, the situation has not undergone fundamental changes. Occupants actively used mortars and armored vehicles along the front line. The ‘hot spots’ remained in the Svitlodarsk district, northern suburbs of Horlivka, the industrial area of Avdiyivka and the Donetsk airport. In the past 24 hours there were 45 enemy attacks in the Donetsk sector, a third of which – with heavy weapons.

The Defence Ministry of Ukraine reported on over 100 militants killed in action. Due to a significant losses of the occupants in hostilities near Avdiyivka (over 100 militants were killed within six weeks), most of the so-called “10th individual Motorized Infantry Regiment of the 1st Army Corps” of the gang of “Donetsk People’s Republic” was pulled off from the front line. Instead, there came fresh forces from the three other so-called “brigades” of invaders.

In the Mariupol sector the number of enemy attacks dramatically increased. Most “hot spots” were in Mar’inka, suburbs of Dokuchaevsk (including Ukrainian roadblocks and entrance/exit checkpoints on the road Donetsk – Mariupol) and Shyrokyne. Yesterday militants twice used mortars and once – artillery (122-mm “Gvozdika” self-propelled guns). In total they released at least 20 mines and 20 shells on positions of the Ukrainian army. Over the past day there were 29 enemy attacks in the Mariupol sector.

During the past day of hostilities no Ukrainian soldier was killed, one was wounded in shelling in Pisky. Also, in Stanytsia Luhanska one soldier was killed yesterday when his car hit a trip mine. One border guard was wounded today after midnight in Stanytsia Luhanska too.
