In the Luhansk sector it was quiet yesterday.

In the Donetsk sector Avdiyivka was in the epicenter of the fighting, which accounted about half of all attacks in Donetsk sector. Militants actively used mortars, said the spokesman of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine for ATO issues Colonel Andriy Lysenko at the briefing in the Information Center of the Ukraine’s National Security Service, Joinfo.ua reports.

A militant mortar attack in Avdiyivka damaged a house, killing several domestic animals. The fighting begins before dawn and continues until late evening.

Also, militants fired mortars in Krasnohorivka, and in Novotroitske they used infantry combat vehicles (BMPs).

A number of smaller provocation took place on other directions of the Mariupol sector. In total, militants carried out 21 shellings on positions of the ATO forces (of which 6 – with mortars).

Four Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in action yesterday.
