According to the General Staff of the Defence Forces of Estonia, a Russian AN-26 aircraft without permission entered the air space of Estonia at 10:29 near Vayndloo island, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to Postimees.

The aircraft remained in the sky over Estonia less than a minute with its transponder turned on. According to the flight plan submitted previously, he had to fly in international airspace. When trespassing the Russian pilots had no radio contact with the Estonian flight controllers.

After the incident, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, summoned the representative of the Russian Embassy in Estonia to deliver a note of protest.
