Russian court to continue reading the verdict on Nadiya Savchenko’s case on Tuesday

Nadiya Savchenko’s case: Russian court to read out the verdict

Today in Donetsk city court of the Rostov region, Russia, the court has begun reading the verdict to Ukrainian pilot and MP Nadiya Savchenko, captured in Donetsk region of Ukraine in June 2014, Joinfo.ua reports.

Nadia was illegally imprisoned on accusation of complicity of murder of the two Russian journalists in eastern Ukraine.

The Russian prosecution demands 23 years of jail for Nadiya Savchenko for complicity in the murder of Russian journalists. The prosecutor also believes there is sufficient evidence Savchenko had crossed the Russian border illegally.
