Nikolay Polozov, lawyer of Ukrainian military pilot Nadia Savchenko who has been on a hunger strike since March 4, wrote on his Facebook page that Nadia’s health condition is gradually improving.
“Today I met with Nadia Savchenko in jail. Thank God her health is improving. She drinks water, consumes vitamin mixture, she looks much better than last week. The temperature is down, it is now 36.1, blood pressure is low – 100/60, but Nadia says it’s okay,” – wrote Polozov.
“Nadia is determined to follow her way and, judging by her mood, is ready to remove mountains. Together we win!” – Nadia’s lawyer said.
It should be recalled that Nadiya Savchenko, Ukraine’s military pilot, MP and member of the Ukrainian delegation to PACE, was abducted by the Russian military in June 2014. Savchenko is accused of involvement in the murder of two Russian journalists. Russian prosecution demands 23 years of prison for her.
At the court hearing in Russia on March 3, the judge denied Savchenko’s last plea, so she said that the court violated her rights by denying her right for the last plea and declared a dry hunger strike from March 4.
