Ukraine’ Intelligence reports Russia deployed MRLS Grad-K near Donetsk

Russia has recently delivered from its territory Grad-K multiple launch rocket systems (mounted on KAMAZ-5350 chassis, which are only available in the Russian Armed Forces) near the town of Horlivka, Donetsk region, Joinfo.ua reports.

Ukrainian side provided information to the representatives of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission on the presence of tanks, mobile artillery installations (SAU) and 122-mm Grad MLRS in the area of the village of Monakhove and Donetsk.

The Russian Federation also continues to deliver weapons, fuel, materials and technical means for the needs of the 1st and the 2nd army corps.

Ukrainian intelligence recorded arrival of trains to the following destinations:

Debaltseve – 240 tons of diesel fuel;

Ilovaysk – 120 tons of diesel fuel and five railway cars with material and technical resources;

Yasinuvata – 320 tons of ammunition;

Krasnodon – 120 tons of diesel fuel and 400 tons of ammunition.

Ukraine’s MoD also confirmed losses of Russian servicemen. Thus, on March 3 six Russian soldiers of the sabotage and reconnaissance groups were killed and five were wounded. The groups were operating in the area of Krasnohorivka.

The battalion commander of the 3rd separate motorized rifle brigade of the 1st army corps (deployed in Horlivka) has been seriously wounded and immediately evacuated to the territory of Russia.

It should be recalled that on March 3 militants carried out 57 attacks on the positions of the forces of Anti Terrorist Operation, of these in Donetsk sector – 46, in Mariupol sector – 11.
