In Luhansk region of the Anti-Terrorist Operation area it was completely calm yesterday, said the spokesman of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine for ATO issues Colonel Andriy Lysenko at the briefing in the Information Center of the National Security Service of Ukraine, Joinfo.ua reported.

In Donetsk sector the situation was the same: militants continue fighting of low intensity with occasional use of heavy weapons. The toughest situation was in the villages of Luhanske, Novhorodske, Avdiyika, Opytne.

In Mariupol sector the most difficult situation was in Mar’inka and Krasnohorivka. Separatists used mortars and infantry fighting vehicles. A sniper fired twice there.

Also, militants conducted a mortar attack near Hnutove. The invaders also thrice broke the silence mode in Shyrokyne.

In total yesterday militants fired more than 50 mortar shells on Ukrainian positions in the Donetsk and Mariupol sectors.

Besides, in Mariupol sector it was recorded 3 flights of militants’ unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

In the past 24 hours none of Ukrainian soldiers was killed, four were wounded in action near Avdiyivka.

In the night of 19 February militants’ UAVs repeatedly attacked ammunition depots of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the village Hrodivka, Krasnoarmiysky district of Donetsk region, dropping phosphorous incendiary grenades. Fires were quickly localized by a backup group.

It should be recalled that yesterday volunteers informed that residents of the village of Mar’inka on the front line, were preparing for evacuation because of the militants’ intense shelling on the village.
