Residents of the village of Mar’inka, which is located on the front line, will be evacuated If militants do not cease shelling on the village, said “Back and Alive” volunteer group on Facebook, Joinfo.ua reports.

The priority is to evacuate the children and the elderly

About 600 children and 120 disabled people live in Mar’inka and the neighboring Krasnohorivka. Now there is no need to evacuate them. But if militants renew hostilities or dare to attack the village, volunteers prepare buses for civilians and shelters, to which they will be transported to the village of Kurakhove and Krasnoarmiysk town.

They also check on the bomb shelters in Mar’inka, because many people do not want to leave their homes.

Local administration and volunteers make these preparations, because Ukrainian intelligence detected high concentrations of insurgents and military equipment in nearby Donetsk. Yesterday on the eve of the battle terrorists pulled infantry fighting vehicles (BMP) and artillery to the front line.

Also, according to the soldiers of the 14th Brigade of Ukrainian Armed Forces, which is defending Mar’inka, yesterday was killed the militants’ platoon commander. So the invaders vowed revenge.

It should be recalled that yesterday militants 22 times fired with small arms, mortars and grenade launchers on the strongholds of the ATO forces in Mar’inka and on the Mar’inka checkpoint.
