In Luhansk region of the area of Anti-Terrorist Operation militants fired from 82 mm mortars on Ukrainian positions near Krymske and Novozvanivka. Also, they conducted one armed provocation using small arms and grenade launchers near the town of Zolote, said the spokesman of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine for ATO issues Colonel Andriy Lysenko at the briefing in the Information Center of the National Security Service of Ukraine, Joinfo.ua reported.

In Donetsk sector illegal armed groups increased activity in the area of Donetsk airport, fired on positions of ATO forces from mortars near Pisky. In this area they shot 62 mines from 82-mm mortar during the day. Also, enemy snipers were shooting near Pisky and Avdiyivka. There were several armed provocations with the use of small arms and grenade launchers near Opytne.

Armed gangs violated the truce on the western and northern outskirts of Horlivka. The militants used small arms, heavy machine guns and grenade launchers near Zaitseve, Mayorsk and Novhorodske. Also, an enemy sniper was shooting near Trinity.

In addition, Ukrainian positions got under dense mortar fire near Krasnohorivka. Militants fired from their positions in the village of Staromyhaylivka from 120mm and 82mm mortars, heavy machine guns, small arms and armored infantry carrier (BMP-2). Also militant sniper fired in this area.

In Mariupol sector, Mar’inka got under the densest fire. Militants fired 22 times at the Ukrainian positions near Mar’inka. The enemy snipers were the most active here, they carried out 9 attacks.

It should be noted that last week Marinka was one of the hottest points on the front. Bombardments threaten the lives of civilians who are trying to pass through a checkpoint on the territory controlled by Ukraine.

The ATO headquarter decided to close the checkpoint in Mar’inka temporary until the situation stabilized. Also, it was restless near Talakivka, where militants carried out two attacks with 82 mm mortars.

During the last day of hostilities two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in action.

It should be recalled that earlier the ATO command has also closed the checkpoint in Zaitseve.
