A group of Russian Internet activists found video showing a Russian-speaking officer observing a combat in progress Joinfo.ua reports with reference to Spiegel Online.
Syrian journalist put questions to the man on the officer and an entrepreneur translates into Russian. The journalist asks the officer, which he calls “General”, about his opinion on the military actions of the Syrian government forces.
The officer says: “The national defence has not given up a single position. That’s why my opinion – excellent!”
Then the correspondent thanked the officer for his high opinion and asks to tell their gratitude to the Russia army and the Russian president.”
The second video shows Russian howitzer Msta-B in use. The recordings were released by a Russian news agency. The description of the video says it is Syrian artillery in the province of Latakia.
Spiegel stressed that Assad’s troops have never had Msta-B. Commands in Russian are clearly heard in the video: “Number two! Ready! Fire!”
It should be recalled that today in Munich representatives of the United States, Russia and more than a dozen other countries agreed to a cessation of hostilities set to begin in a week and to provide rapid humanitarian access to besieged Syrian towns. Despite this agreement, Russia refused to halt bombing in Syria.
