Mark Feygin, the lawyer of Ukrainian pilot and MP Nadiya Savchenko, illegally detained in Russian prison, wrote on Twitter on Friday, that Russian court has already rendered a verdict of guilty for Nadiya. He also said that negotiations continue on the transfer of Savchenko to Ukraine, Joinfo.ua reports.

The lawyer also wrote that the issue of Nadiya’s discharge has been already foreclosed.

“A guilty verdict foreclosed, as her discharge was foreclosed too. Talks on sending her home underway “, – Feygin wrote on Twitter.

Feygin also said that none of the defence’s requests on evidence of Savchenko’s innocence, received from Kyiv, was entered to the case file.

The lawyer said that Nadiya Savchenko has been detained in Russian prison illegally, because Russian court failed to prove her guilt. The investigation has also failed to gather evidence that would support the prosecution’s case.

“The judicial investigation has not revealed any evidence of Savchenko’s guilt. Rather, proved the opposite: the fact of Savchenko’s case falsification”, – said the lawyer.

It should be recalled Nadiya Savchenko, Ukrainian pilot, was captured in Donbas in June 2014, illegally transported to the Russian Federation, imprisoned by the Kremlin and accused of alleged involvement in the death of Russian journalists in Donbas.

The court hearings on her case have been conducted in the Donetsk city court of the Rostov region of Russia since September, 2015.

On December 17, 2015, Russian court extended the time of detention of Nadiya Savchenko in custody until April 16, 2016, so Nadiya announced a hunger strike until the end of the trial.
