During Monday none of Ukrainian soldiers was killed or wounded in action, said Colonel Oleksandr Motuzyanyk, the spokesman of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine for ATO issues at the briefing in Analytical-Information Center of the Ukrainian Security Service.

In Luhansk region there was no fighting yesterday.

In Donetsk region there were fighting of low-intensity on all fronts. Insurgents continued to use heavy weapons. In particular, near the village of Luhanske militants fired twice from the armored infantry carrier at Ukrainian strong point.

Near Krasnohorivka, militants used a 100-mm gun Rapier and mortar.

Snipers were shooting in Pisky and Opytne. Bombardment with small arms and rocket-propelled grenades was recorded in Horlovka agglomeration,  Svitlodarsk district, near the Donetsk airport.

In Mariupol district, militants increased activity simultaneously on several fronts. Near Starohnativka, they fired at Ukrainian positions from infantry fighting vehicles and anti-aircraft installation ZU-23-2. Further south, near Lebedynske, mercenaries carried out two mortar attacks and a number of smaller provocations.

The forces of the Anti-Terrorist Operation opened accurate fire in response, which forced the militants to cease fire and retreat. In Shyrokyne, militants also used the 82 mm mortar and small arms, resulting in a series of skirmishes between the Ukrainian military and occupiers. Also smaller militants’ provocations occurred in Krasnohorivka and Maryinka.
