Leonid Kuchma, a former president and the representative of Ukraine at the Minsk negotiations, held a meeting with Boris Gryzlov, Russia’s plenipotentiary representative on the Trilateral Contact Group on the settlement of the situation in Donbas on January 11 in Kyiv, according to Darka Olifer, the press secretary of the ex-president, Joinfo.ua reports.

The parties discussed preparations for the meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk, which will be held on January 13.

The press secretary also wrote that before talking with a Russian representative, Leonid Kuchma met with the representative of the OSCE in the Trilateral Contact Group Martin Saydik and also talked on the agenda of the coming meeting.

This will be the first meeting of the Group in 2016.

It should be recalled that Boris Gryzlov, Russia’s plenipotentiary representative on the Trilateral Contact Group on the settlement of the situation in Donbas, arrived in Kyiv today.
