Tuesday December 15, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko is holding a meeting with President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda in Kyiv, Joinfo.ua reports.
After the meeting of the leaders of Ukraine and Poland in the “face to face” format, the presidents will chair Ukrainian-Polish talks in expanded format.
According to the Minister for Foreign Policy in the Office of the President of Poland Krzysztof Scherskogo, the main purpose of the visit is “to re-install the vectors of Polish-Ukrainian cooperation.”
The main topics of the visit are the situation in the east of Ukraine, the Polish support for internal reforms in Ukraine, Polish-Ukrainian economic cooperation, energy security, historical dialogue of Poland and Ukraine.
The minister stressed the need to move from a declaratory nature, which still bore the strategic partnership of Poland and Ukraine, to the specific nature of this partnership.
The meeting of the Presidents with the media is scheduled on 12.30.
