“Today, we pay tribute to courageous people who curbed the nuclear element and protected Ukraine and the whole world from fatal danger in the course of the Chernobyl disaster,” the President said.

“In conditions of undeclared war against us, when the top priority is to preserve our independence and territorial integrity, the authorities and civil associations should elaborate optimal and balanced mechanisms of social protection and support for people affected by the nuclear disaster, particularly for children of Chernobyl and people with disability,” – the Head of State emphasized.
