The electricity in the west part of Crimea was shut off again today because of the accident in the peninsula. There were Blackouts in Yevpatoriya, in Razdolnensky and Chernomorsky districts, reports Joinfo.ua.
Ukrainian supply company Ukrenergo confirmed that the electricity was turned off. According to the company tonight the electricity transfer volume on the line Kakhovska-Titan, leading to Crimea, fell to a minimum because of the accident.
“December 9, 2015 at 16:12 the amount of power that was transmitted on the 220 kV Kakhovska-Titan, decreased by 165 mW. It is currently 20 mW. According to available information, it happened because of the accident on the line on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea”, – the report said.
At the same time, the supply of electricity to consumers of Chaplynskyi and Kalanchak districts of Kherson region, which was also provided through this line, was not affected.
The fact of another blackout in the west of Crimea was confirmed by the so-called Energy Minister of Crimea Svetlana Borodulina at the meeting of staff on the Elimination of emergency because of the energy shortage. According to her, the electricity will return to Yevpatoriya soon.
Crimean residents complained that after the shut off there were problems with water supply and mobile communication in the area.
It should be recalled that on 00:08 Tuesday the power supply to Crimea was resumed on the line Kakhovska-Titan.
