MPs supported the launch of foreign broadcasting in Ukraine with 282 votes. The channel will broadcast in Ukrainian, Russian and English about events in Ukraine, Joinfo.ua reports.

The Verkhovna Rada supported the creation of the state enterprise “Foreign Broadcasting Company of Ukraine “Ukraine Tomorrow ” in order to meet the information needs of foreign audiences, especially Ukrainians abroad, protection of national interests outside Ukraine, formation and maintenance of a positive image of Ukraine in the world by prompt, impartial information about events in Ukraine, the official domestic and foreign policy and the position of the state, the activity of state bodies.”

The purpose of the law is to ensure access of foreign audiences, including the Ukrainian diaspora and Ukrainians abroad, to an objective, up to date and complete information about the events in Ukraine.
