Monday, during the press conference following the meeting with the U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said that Ukraine will provide maximum support to the anti-ISIS coalition forces in Syria, Joinfo.ua reports with the reference to the AP press service.
“Ukraine will stand side-by-side with anti-terrorist coalition. We know what terrorist threats mean. We know how to fight terrorism inside Ukraine. Our special forces prevented over 200 terrorist attacks in Kyiv, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Lviv and many other cities,” the President said.
“The world cannot be intimidated by terrorist threat. We clearly declared that states, supporting terrorism cannot take part in the struggle against terrorism. There cannot be bad terrorists and acceptable terrorists. They are all terrorists. One cannot conceal violations of international law and receive international indulgence under the slogan of struggle against terrorism. It is our clear position,” – the President noted.
It should be recalled that today the U.S. Vice President Joe Biden arrived in Kyiv and held a meeting with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in the course of the working visit to Ukraine.
