Nadiya Savchenko can get a harsh sentence by the end of the year, Vladimir Markin, official representative of the Russian Investigation Committee said to the radio station “Vesti FM”.
“Court hearing is in the final stage. I think by the end of the year the verdict will be deliverd. And something tells me that it will be severe,”- said Markin. “Those crimes, committed by the so-called spotter Savchenko, are very clearly regulated by our law, as the crimes were committed against Russian citizens”, – said the speaker of the RF IC.
Nadiya Savchenko, Ukrainian pilot, was captured in Donbas in June 2014, illegally transported to the Russian Federation, imprisoned by the Kremlin and accused of alleged involvement in the death of Russian journalists in Donbas.
