Turkey has complicated the passage through the Bosporus Strait for Russian ships

From the morning of 29 November, ships under the Russian flag had delays on the passage of the Bosphorus Strait, Joinfo.ua reports with the reference to Korrespondent.

According to the online ships tracking system marinetraffic.com, on Sunday Russian vessels moved in zigzags and circles for a long time waiting for permission to enter the strait.

Tracking lines of other countries’ ships did not show any signs of delay. Russian ships have finally passed the Bosporus strait late in the evening of November 29.

It is noted that the ship “Bratsk” expected for the passage from 10 am to 19 pm. Volgobalt moved in zigzags from 3 am till 5 pm.

It should be recalled that Russia suspended visa-free regime with Turkey from January 1, 2016. Also, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree, imposing bans and restrictions on the economic relations with Turkey.
