On November 29, militants continued active fire at positions of the ATO forces using small arms (including heavy machine guns), rocket launchers, mortars 82-mm and 120-mm mortar launchers, anti-aircraft installations and weapons of manning armored fighting vehicles (AFV), stated Colonel Andriy Lysenko, the spokesman of Administration of the President of Ukraine on ATO issues, at the briefing in Information center of NSDC of Ukraine, Joinfo.ua reports. At the same time, no Ukrainian soldier was killed or injured during the past day.
Thus, militants repeatedly fired 82-mm mortar launchers and heavy grenade launchers at the village Verkhnetoretske from the camouflaged positions north of Red Partizan. Also, they fired from 82-mm mortar launchers and small arms at the village of Krasnohorivka.
From anti-aircraft installation ZU-23-2 and 120-mm mortar launchers militants fired at positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian targets in the area of Avdiyivka (including the eastern outskirts of the town and so-called Old Avdiyivka). From small arms, machine guns, and two anti-aircraft installations ZU-23-2 the militants fired at the positions of Ukrainian troops from the area of the height 251.2 and wholesale agricultural market, then they fired from 120-mm mortar launcher from Kruta Balka. Ukrainian positions near Pisky, Opytne, Mar’inka were shelled too.
Militants continued shelling in the northern and north-western outskirts of Horlivka. Ukrainian positions are shelled near Holmovskogo, Zaitseve, from north of Mayorske. The militants fired mostly on the ATO positions near Dacha, Kodema, Shumy and other areas adjacent to the road Horlivka – Artemivsk.
Moreover, among the militants of so-called “Horlivka garrison” has been actively discussed the order of command of “the 1st Army Corps of DPR” on the transfer of the additional artillery and mortar units (including the MLRS and ACS) to the line Horlivka-Debaltseve. There are rumors about the planned offensive of the Russian-terrorist forces in early December this year. On the eastern outskirts of Horlivka the militants pulled up the arms and military equipment to the front. It was detected the transfer of armored group of terrorists (3 units of infantry combat vehicles BMP-2, 2 units of infantry combat vehicles BMP-1 and 3 units of armored BTR-80).
Also, the militants’ activity was recorded in the direction of Azov sea. Several moving infantry militant groups were seen in the area of Shyrokyne-Sakhanka. Militants fired from small arms (including heavy machine gun).
In the area of the villages of Luhanske, Shchastya and Syze, militants were firing from the AGS-17 and small arms. There was unsighted shooting from small arms near Popasna, Krymske, south of Chermalyk, east of Hnutove.
