In addition, the defense asked to read out the testimony of Igor Plotnitsky, the head of the so-called Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR). The Court also rejected the application. “The witness Plotnitskiy told the court that there were political reasons to appeal to the court in the closed session. Thus, the testimony of a witness Plotnitsky should be given publicity, according to art. 241 of the Criminal Code, “- sayd the lawyer Mark Feigin.
Таким образом, показания свидетеля Плотницкого должны быть приданы гласности, руководствуясь ст.241 УПК

Earlier, at a meeting on the case behind closed doors, Igor Plotnitskiy has been questioned. Plotnitskiy asked the court to conduct questioning in this format, explaining it by safety issues. According to lawyers, Plotnitskiy repeated the testimony, given during the investigation, “word for word” – that Savchenko did not told him personally, that she was a fire spotter, and he did not participate in her capture.
Nadiya Savchenko, Ukrainian pilot, was captured in Donbas in June 2014, illegally transported to the Russian Federation, imprisoned by the Kremlin and accused of alleged involvement in the death of Russian journalists in Donbas.
