Nikolay Skrypnikov, a former Director General of Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Center of financial and legal security”, and Head of State Administration of Russian President Vladimir Putin, has been arrested today, along with his deputy and several employees, on charge in 3.5 billion rubles fraud with the state funds, Joinfo.ua reports with the reference to RIA Novosti.
On Friday, the Interior Ministry spokesman Elena Alekseeva told reporters, that members of the Central board on economic security and anti-corruption f the Russian Interior Ministry revealed the fraud, in which 3.5 billion rubles in assets of the state-owned enterprise “Kvant-N” were transferred to third parties, and then to the off-shore companies.
As Alekseeva said, Nikolay Skrypnikov, the main suspect, was detained. His deputy is under house arrest.
The police held searches in the office of Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Center of financial and legal security” and suspects’ homes.
