Russian company StroyGazMontazh, which won a tender on construction of the bridge across the Kerch Strait, has finished the first of the three auxiliary bridges from Taman peninsula to Tuzla Island, on the halfway to Crimea, Joinfo.ua reports with the reference to rbc.ru.
A construction of the first of the three auxiliary bridges across the Kerch Strait has been finished. They will allow transporting of the materials to the place of construction. The length of the structure, which is based on 58 piles, is more than 1.2 kilometers.
The other two bridges will be constructed by Summer of 2016.
The convoy of 10-ton trucks with cargo passed the temporary bridge.
Two more auxiliary bridges are currently under construction in the navigable part of the Kerch Strait – between the island of Tuzla and Crimea.
It should be recalled that Crimean authorities announced the start of construction of a tunnel under Kerch Strait. The construction will begin in December, 2015. The period of the first stage of construction will last for 22 months.
