Interrogation by the Russian investigators was carried out on June 25, 2014, in Voronezh Euro hotel in the presence of an interpreter from Ukrainian, as Nadiya talked to invaders exclusively in her native Ukrainian.

The interrogation was carried by Major Justice Manshin, an acting senior investigator for particularly important cases of the Office for the Investigation of crimes related to the use of prohibited methods of warfare of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. Interrogation lasted for several hours. Forty minutes of interrgation was dedicated to the events on the Maidan. Russians were interested in the role, which Savchenko played in these events.

In the first interrogation in Voronezh Savchenko said that she helped in the tent camp, holding shields against the wall of fire, threw Molotov cocktails at the water jet, which was watering protesters, helped the wounded. Nadiya came to the Maidan, which also was attended by her mother and sister, for a few times. She took vacations for it.

Savchenko also described, how the special forces, controlled by Yanukovych and his entourage, carried out the shooting at peaceful protesters.

It should be recalled that yesterday her lawyer, Mark Feygin posted on his Twitter, that Nadiya Savchenko would go home in the coming year.
