According to Russian media, the employees of the corporation “Tactical Missiles” are work in three shifts due to increased demand in the supply of missiles for the Russia’s operation in Syria, Joinfo.ua reports.

In addition, for the delivery of goods to the military base in Tartous, Russia urgently bought eight transport ships from the Turkish ship owners. The large amphibious ships could not cope with the massive loads alone, therefore the acquired ships were quickly enrolled in the lists of auxiliary vessels to give them military status.

The operation in Syria, in which Russian Aerospace forces (VKS) have bombed at ISIS, was launched on September 30.

The publication, citing data from the Ministry of Defense, reported that during the period from September 30 to October 22, VKS completed 934 sorties from Hmeymim air base and destroyed at least 819 objects. Most air strikes were conducted with high-precision missiles H-29L of class “air-surface” and corrected bombs KAB-500S, whose maximum deviation from the target, according to the military, is not more than 5 meters.

Source in the General Staff said that the selection of targets for destruction is based on intelligence that Russia gets almost around the clock via satellite electro-optical reconnaissance “Person” No2 and UAV Orlan-10. Besides, Moscow receives information from the allies – Iran, Iraq and Syria.

It should be recalled that earlier the Russian Defense Ministry reported about 285 air strikes in Syria for the last three days.
