The 43rd "humanitarian convoy" from Russia arrived to Luhansk and Donetsk

In the morning of October 22 the 42nd Russian “humanitarian convoy” consisting of 100 cars, violating the international custom rules, has entered Ukraine at 6:35 to 7:10 through Russian checkpoints “Donetsk” and “Matveev Kurgan”, the State Border Service of Ukraine informed, Joinfo.ua reports.

The State Border Service of Ukraine stated that Russian side again broke the international custom rules and unilaterally conducted the clearance of the cargo shipments.

“Interdepartmental control group made only a visual observation without performing control functions,” – Ukrainian border guards noted, -“All the trucks were almost half-empty.”

The State Border Service of Ukraine recommends to the Russian side to conduct the entry of the so-called “humanitarian convoys” through official checkpoints, such as in the Kharkiv and Luhansk regions.

“So far, the Russian side has consistently ignored these offers, in flagrant violation of domestic and international law, and sents humanitarian aid through those sections of the border, which are temporarily out of control by Ukrainian side,” – the Service stated.

It should be recalled that after each arrival of the Russian ‘humanitarian aid’, the militants increase attacks on positions of ATO forces, though the content of Russian trucks seems to be far from humanitarian.
