According to Dmitry Peskov, the spokesman of Russian President, Syrian President Bashar Assad yesterday visited Moscow, where he had talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the subject of the Russian Armed Forces military operations in Syria, Joinfo.ua reports citing Russian media.

“Last night Syrian President Bashar Assad arrived in Moscow with working visit. Bashar Assad and Vladimir Putin held talks in a narrow format and expanded format,”- said Peskov.

He noted that in the negotiations in an expanded format participated member of the higher leadership of Russia. “The negotiations were long enough, the subject of the negotiations is understandable,” – he said.

The two leaders discussed topics related to the implementation of the military operation and the Armed Forces of the Syrian army. They, in particular, discussed the course of military operations in Syria and agreed on further actions.

It should be recalled that yesterday Russian Defense Ministry published new footages of the air strikes and informed that over the past day, Russian aircrafts bombed 60 targets ISIS and Dzhebhat en Nusra. They made 55 sorties in six provinces – Hama, Idlib, Latakia, Damascus, Aleppo Deir ez-Zor.
