On October 12 the militants opened fire with small arms near the positions of the AFU on the outskirts of the Shyrokyne village, said Colonel Andrei Lysenko, representative of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine on ATO at the briefing at Ukraine Crisis Media, Joinfo.ua  reports.

The situation along the rest of the contact line was quiet.

Unfortunately in Donetsk region on the outskirts of the Granitne village a 12-year-old boy was wounded tripping on an explosive device. He was transferred to the central district hospital in Volnovaha. Now Ukrainian doctors are struggling for his health.

Granitne is located on the boundary line and has been regularly shelled by the militants, as a result result there are a lot of explosive devices left in the ground.
