Trilateral contact group held a video conference on the fact of shelling Ukrainian stronghold near Troitske, violating the truce, Joinfo.ua reports.
It should be recalled that on October 7, for the first time since September 30, the militants broke the truce and attacked Ukrainian stronghold near Troitske village with anti-tank guided rockets. Ukrainian soldiers were conducting engineering works when they were targeted with two rockets. As a result of attack, four soldiers were wounded, one of the rockets damaged the excavator.
Having discussed the violation of the truce, the contact group recommended further diversion of arms, since October 7 shelling was an isolated case.
Due to the fact that the shelling was an isolated case, the Group recommended to proceed on implementation of the agreement on the withdrawal of weapons of caliber under 100 mm from the contact line.
The group has also decided to call on the OSCE observers to investigation into the shelling at the stronghold near Troitske, and to demand from the LPR to provide access of observers to the place where the firing was conducted. Earlier in some areas of Luhansk region local administrations refused to provide acces of OSCE SMM to the place of launching rockets.
In this context, the negotiators agreed to require from LPR “to ensure further unimpeded access of CMM OSCE to the whole territory of Ukraine, including Ukrainian-Russian border, in accordance with the decision of the Normandy Four leaders.”
