Four Russian missiles aimed at Syria crashed in Iran

Four Russian cruise missiles launched from Russian ships in the Caspian Sea at Syria crashed in Iran
Russian airstrike killed 48 people from a single Syrian family

On Wednesday October 7 Russia launched cruise missiles from warships in the Caspian Sea to hit ISIS positions in Syria. Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu said four warships fired 26 sea-based cruise missiles “Kalibr” on 11 targets, destroying them and causing no civilian casualties. But, as a source in the U.S. government, four of them crashed on Iran terrain.

The Russian Defense Ministry declined to comment.
