Seven countries – Turkey, the United States, Germany, Britain, France, Qatar and Saudi Arabia – called on Russia to cease to bomb Syria. Turkish Foreign Ministry published a joint declaration, Joinfo.ua reports with the reference to CNN.

“We express our deep concern with regard to the Russian military build-up in Syria and especially the attacks by the Russian Air Force on Hama, Homs and Idlib since yesterday which led to civilian casualties and did not target ISIS,”

“These military actions constitute a further escalation and will only fuel more extremism and radicalization,” said the statement, which was on the website of the Turkish Foreign Ministry.

It should be recalled that earlier Russian Defense Ministry official spokesman Igor Konashenkov said to TASS agency that “Russian combat aicrafts launched 18 attackes in Syria over 24 hours”.

He also informed that the airstrikes destroyed 12 facilities of ISIS, a command post and a communications point, armed units near Dar Tazza, a field camp of the IS gunmen near Maarrat al-Nu’man, bunkers, ammunition and fuel depots.
