Minsk peace talks: agreed the withdrawal of weapons under 100mm caliber

Trilateral contact group at the Minsk peace talks signed an agreement on the withdrawal of weapons under 100mm caliber, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to the Facebook post of Dariia Olifer, press secretary of ex-President Leonid Kuchma, who represents Ukraine in the group.

The document was signed by Martin Sajdik, Leonid Kuchma, Azamat Kulmuhametov.

“This agreement puts into practice the initiative of the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, which he voiced in the course of the Minsk agreement dated September 5, 2014 and February 12, 2015,” – Olifer said.

Trilateral contact group expects that this document will be signed by Aleksandr Zakharchenko and Ihor Plotnytskyi.

“Ukraine also requires separate regions from Donetsk and Lugansk regions the immediate and strict implementation of these agreements as an integral part of the Minsk Agreement “- wrote Olifer.

It should be recalled that Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in his speech at the 70th UN General Assembly said that Russia conducted aggression against Ukraine, “bluntly and brutally violating the international law and shocking the whole world community”.
