The White House said that the Russian troops in Syria and increase of their number, as well as military vehicles, may lead to a confrontation with the forces of the international coalition under the auspices of the U.S. figting against the ISIS, Joinfo.ua reports referring to AFP.

“The U.S. is concerned about the information that Russia deploys additional troops and aircraft in Syria. These steps can lead to great loss of human lives, can increase the flow of refugees and threaten confrontation with the coalition fighting against the ISIS in Syria,” said a spokesman for the White House Josh Ernest.

He said Russia’s actions today, “ar edifficult to understand”.
