According to Nuss, President Vladimir Putin will not arrive at the UN General Assembly in late September in New York, because this visit will be a diplomatic and geopolitical failure, Joinfo.ua reports.
“In my opinion, Putin will not arrive at the General Assembly of the United Nations in late September this year since his visit and speech will be another diplomatic and geopolitical failure for the whole system of his power, and most importantly, they were informed that the Ukrainian delegation headed by President Petro Poroshenko is ready to provide the world with irrefutable evidence of direct Russian aggression and direct invasion of the Russian Defense Ministry and units of the Russian regular army in the east of Ukraine,” said the analyst.
He stressed that the UN General Assembly is a platform for international debate and decision-making important for history.
“Russia and its aggressive policy will be the topic of discussion, and Putin just has no evidence that would refute the Ukrainian evidence base. The information that there is being prepared an attempted assassination of Putin during his visit to New York, is spread by the FSB to create an information precedent and to explain the rejection of the visit by fears and threats to life of Putin,” the analyst added.
Nuss believes that if it is decided to visit the Assembly, it will mean that President Vladimir Putin accepts his breakdown, and from the main grandstand of the world our nation will hear Putin’s willingness to compensate trillion losses for the aggression.
As it is known, the session with the participation of Heads of State and Government and Foreign Ministers will last from September 28 to October 3, it will be opened by Brazil. Then there will speak the U.S., Poland, China, Jordan and Russia – it will speak as sixth on the first day of debate. Before that, President Vladimir Putin spoke the UN General Assembly in 2000, 2003 and 2005.
By the way, the previous conversation was initiated by the Russian side at the end of June. Before it there was a four-month break. Back then Obama said he was encouraged by Putin’s call, during which they discussed Syria and Ukraine. The last personal contact between the two leaders took place at the G20 summit held in Australia last spring.
Earlier we reported that before the visit of the Russian President Vladimir Putin to New York for the 70th session of the UN General Assembly, the Russian Navy submarine was spotted by the U.S. military off the coast of Georgia, near the base of the U.S. Navy Kings Bay, where six Ohio-class ballistic missile submarines are deployed
