35th Russian ‘humanitarian convoy’ for the occupied areas of the Donbas is already heading to the border with Ukraine, the TASS news agency reports referring to a source in the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

“At 04:00 MSK a column leaft the Don rescue center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the direction of the state border,” a source told the publication.

The Russian rescuers say that more than 100 vehicles will delivered more than 1,000 tons of ‘humanitarian goods’, including food, medicines and other essentials to the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

Before the border the column will be traditionally divided into two parts. “One of them will go to the Donetsk checkpoint, and the other one to Matveyev Kurgan.

It should be noted that the previous 34th convoy brought many flags of the LPR and Novorossiya.

Earlier, we reported that the Russian convoys with allegedly ‘humanitarian assistance’ will be sent to the Donbas next year, too. It was announced by Yury Vorobyov, the Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council.

“As long as there is a need to help people in the territory of the south-east, we’ll provide it. Unfortunately, the blockade on the part of those territories of Ukraine does not allow all social institutions to function normally,” he said.
