President Vladimir Putin accuses Armed Forces of Ukraine of shelling Donbas

At a meeting of the Security Council, the Russian President discussed the attacks in the Donbas. And, of course, he blamed the Ukrainian military.

Today, August 12, the Russian President Vladimir Putin held a prompt meeting with the permanent members of the Security Council. It was reported by the Kremlin press service, Joinfo.ua informs.

During the meeting, the Ukrainian military was blamed for revitalization of attacks in the Donbas. “There was discussed the situation of frequent attacks on the settlements of the Donbas and representatives of the OSCE mission on the part of the Ukrainian security services,” the statement reads.

Also at the meeting with Vladimir Putin security officials raised a number of issues related to measures to combat the spread of the Islamic State organization. Apart from the head of the Russian Federation, the meeting was attended by the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, the Head of the State Duma Sergei Naryshkin, the Minister of Defense Sergey Shoygu, and others.

It should be recalled that the former so-called minister of defense of the DPR Igor Girkin said that President Putin would be certainly overthrown as a result of a palace coup.
