According to the information of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Russia is preparing bloody provocations with a lot of victims in the Donbas. It was stated by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (RNBO), Oleksandr Turchynov, Joinfo.ua reports.

“In the occupied territory the Russian special services are carrying out the selection of crowded objects: kindergartens, schools, residential buildings, infrastructure objects, and are working out the scenarios of organizing terrorist acts,” said Turchynov.

He believes that the Russian government sets the target to bring the number of civilian casualties during the attacks “to the number comparable with the number of those killed in the tragedy of the MH17 flight.”

Oleksandr Turchynov also notes that the provocations are planned with the aim to blame the Ukrainian leadership for the crimes against humanity “and to initiate the issue of bringing the Ukrainian authorities to justice at the international level.”

The RNBO Secretary adds that according to the plan of the Russian special services, “the bloody terrorist attacks should divert the world’s attention from Russia’s responsibility for the downed Boeing, justify the intensification of the Russian aggression, as well as deprive Ukraine of the world’s support and lead to international isolation.”

Earlier, we reported that the U.S. government would give Ukraine additional $ 500 million for training Ukrainian military.

“If Russia fails to implement its obligations under these agreements or launches new military offensives across the line of contact, the United States will increase the costs to Russia for its aggression against Ukraine. Our sanctions on Russia for its actions in Crimea will stay in place until Russia ends its occupation of Ukraine’s sovereign territory,” said Biden.
