The U.S. Department of the Treasury has imposed new sanctions against Russia, extending the restrictive measures on 11 Russian and 15 Ukrainian citizens and companies. It is stated in a message on the website of the department, Joinfo.ua reports.
Thus, the black list of individuals now includes the names of Andriy Klyuyev, Sergey Kurchenko, Eduard Stavitsky, sons of the former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and Russian oligarch Arkady Rotenberg – Oleksandr Yanukovych and Roman Rotenberg, as well as the top managers of the Russian Kalashnikov military concern.
The ports of Yevpatoria, Feodosia, Kerch, Sevastopol, Yalta and the Kerch ferry were also added to the sanctions list.
The targeted sanctions are also applied to the group of organizations and companies associated with Rosneft and Vneshekonombankom, which are already under the effect of sanctions.
The list also includes the Corporation for the Development of the North Caucasus, the foundation of the Far East and the Baikal region, JSC Federal Center for Project Finance, state-owned Eximbank, Izhmash Defense Concern, and Izhevsk Mechanical Plant.
The U.S. sanctions ban American companies to cooperate with the companies and individuals from the black list and block their assets.
